Theo's
I have a restaurant. It's called Theo's.
It's a beautiful place, and is filled with history and memories of people getting together over a glass of wine and food to enjoy each others company since 1976.
It's always busy, yet there's always room.
Explore our menu, our wine list, and a gallery of photos that will give you a taste of what you will see when you visit us.
See you there!
Specializing In the Impossible
I was born with two heads. It's my curse and salvation. One head was all business and practicality and one was all fun and imagination. When they got together, I was forced into action.
As a filmmaker, restauranteur, producer, consultant and project manager, I have had a chance to make the most of tangental thinking and have discovered the fun that can come out of the dedication to a dream.
I provide speaking and facilitation services for schools, businesses and communities in the area of staff development and in helping visions move from ideas into action into results.

Beach Blanket
Film Festival
I produce a film festival. It's called the Beach Blanket Film Festival
It started seven years ago with this crazy desire to see more Canadian films, a desire to give Canadian filmmakers a much needed venue, and a vision to do all of this in a beautiful slightly surreal setting. A sandy beach, a screen in the water, stars above, popcorn and beach blankets, and three nights of Canadian short films, animation and features.
It's weird. It's magical. And with the help of many volunteers and sponsors it's on again as always on the third weekend in July (July 14-15-16)

Filmmaking
I am a director. My wife Linda is a writer. We make films.
Storytelling is important to both of us, and we both have an interest in exploring where storytelling is going.
This is a place where we want to talk about filmmaking, storytelling and the future of digital cinema.
It has resources and links for filmmakers and audiances alike.
There is also a great list of online film festivals to check out.
The Committed Sardine
I met Ian Jukes.
In one of his presentations, he describes how a school of sardines change direction. "They can turn almost instantly. Although they appear to be swimming in the same direction, in reality, at any time, there will be a small number of sardines swimming in a different direction. As they do, they cause conflict, friction, and discomfort for the rest of the school. But when a critical mass of truly committed sardines is reached, the rest of the school suddenly changes direction and goes with them - almost instantaneously! It works much the same way in our world. Meaningful change begins with a small group of people who are truly committed to make meaningful change."
Along with Anita Dosaj and Bruce Macdonald, we decided to form The Committed Sardine.
It is a very exciting resource for businesses, education and communities alike.
Check us out and see if we are as crazy as we think we are.
